Have your say with other young people!

What do YOU think about the care you are receiving?

What do you think about the time you spend with your social worker?

Do you have enough support at school or with your studies?

Do you like where you live or have lived?

What about those review meetings you go to every 6 months? Do you like them?

We want to hear YOUR VIEWS so we can make it all a whole lot better for YOU!

There are lots of different ways that you can get involved and tell us what you think!

Visions of Success (VOS) Consultation Group

VOS meet once every two weeks. There are about 13 young people aged between to 13 to 21 who attend regularly. This is a great way to meet other young people who are looked after.

What do Visions of Success do?

The group get to tell Lambeth Council what they think about it’s policies and how they care for young people.

Over tasty dinners together, the group have made lots of great changes in Lambeth Council already, some of them you may have seen:

  • Designed new Review documents for all looked after children and young people.
  • Designed this website!
  • Write the G2K magazine.
  • Designed a new Complaints Leaflet for all young people in Lambeth Council.

Do you like the sound of this group? Would you be interested in coming along? It can be a bit scary joining a new group… but VOS are very welcoming.

If you want to be a part of Visions of Success and help make a difference for all children and young people looked after by Lambeth?? Then call us!!
