Summer Uni is here!!!
We have some great news for you the looked after children of Lambeth Council about the new Summer University Program! The Corporate Parenting team has been able to guarantee 50 first choice places on the Summer University Program 2008 for you if you are aged between 11 and 19 years! This is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in a variety of activities (some even being accredited) including sailing, dance/singing/drama courses and many, many more!
You can get application packs from any number of council buildings or you can contact your social worker or the corporate parenting team at 0207 926 5196 for help with this! Make sure that you write “star” on the top of your enrollment form (this will identify you as someone who gets first choice of activities without making it known that you are looked after) and submit it to the address stated on the form! Other than that, all you have to do is have fun on your summer holidays!!!
We have some more exciting news to share with you about what’s happening over the summer holidays here in Lambeth! Lambeth has launched an holiday activity brochure (for ages 0-19 years) that is packed full of exciting and challenging activities to suit everyone’s taste, providing you with a fun and entertaining time over the holidays!
