                                          Councillor Visits....

Lambeth Councillors, are the corporate parents for you the children and young people looked after of Lambeth.  As your corporate parent they have asked if they could come and meet and you at home. You don’t have to worry about telling “your story” to some body new, because they are only interested in knowing how things are going for you now.  As for what they will want to talk about well, that’s up to you!  You don’t have to talk about anything that you don’t want to!  An example of a question they may want to ask is simply, “how are things going in your current foster placement/at school or what are your leisure interests?”

One young person has already volunteered and a visit will be taking place over the summer holidays. If there is anyone else out there who would like a visit from a Lambeth Councillor, talk to your foster carer about it and ask them to give Gerry Dermody a call on 020 7926 8564.
