Work experience and shadowing opportunities

In 2007 children and young people looked after participated in the ‘Teenagers to Work’ work experience scheme.  Due to the success of this project a new program of volunteer placements are being offered to you if you are aged 15 – 18 years. 

Placements will be two weeks long, in lots of different Lambeth Council departments.  We are also offering the chance to shadow a senior manager within the Council. 

In 2007 ten young people spent a day each shadowing the Chief Executive of the Council and the Divisional Director of Social Care to see how things run. So here’s your chance to get a sneak peak! Give Kreusna (Cris-na) a call at 0207 926 8566 if you think this is for you!
